Meet Jeanne
With over two decades of experience in Public Accounting, Jeanne Bolz specializes in helping small business owners and individuals reach their optimal tax positions. She wants the clients of Bolz CPA to receive value in 4 ways: (1) Direct Benefit – bottom line tax savings, (2) Indirect Benefit – allowing time to do other things, (3) Education – living your tax strategy with confidence, and (4) Preventative Benefit – protection from error and unnecessary audit. Jeanne’s current passion is aiming to modernize the current CPA Firm profile by staying on the forefront of technology and processes, and offering staff work-life harmony. Jeanne is a landscape photography enthusiast and is strongly connected with her Viking roots, which are embedded in the Bolz CPA logo and brand.

Meet STEVE
With over two decades of experience in Public Accounting, Steve Bolz specializes in Small Business Consulting. Steve is available for short-term CFO services, offers strategic advice, and will assist with closing of books and audit preparation. Steve attends board meetings and offers financial statement presentations. When not working, Steve can often be found in his Jeep in the Colorado backcountry.
His background includes:
- Over 20 years of independent auditor experience
- Veteran of the United States Marine Corps
- Graduation from Colorado State University
- Former business owner of a multi-location CPA firm
- Former Principal in a Minnesota Top-20 CPA firm

Meet Jen
After leaving the workforce to focus on family and raise two children, Jen hit the ground running when she agreed to manage our operations in Minnesota. As a Certified Public Accountant and remote worker, she is available to provide tax and bookkeeping support to our entire client base.

- MBA in Finance, Drexel University in Pennsylvania

Meet Ashley
Ashley has been with Bolz CPA for 3 years and specializes in individual tax return preparation including Single-Member LLC businesses. The self-proclaimed office elf, Ashley brings the jolly spirit of Mrs. Claus to every day. Ashley and her husband Mike recently adopted their foster sons and now have a busy household with 2 teenagers and a pack of 4 dogs.

With over two decades of experience in Public Accounting, Abby Smith specializes in Small Business, Individual and Not-For-Profit tax preparation. She enjoys assisting clients with tax planning, business consulting and bookkeeping. When not working, you can find Abby officiating swim meets, training for a triathlon, or spending time with her husband, two kids, and three cats.
